Kimberley and I watched a series about Vikings a while back. There were battle scenes a-plenty where the warriors would build a wall with their shields that was effective protection from the onslaught of the enemy.
Jesus believed and taught that God protects us from surrounding evil. As in the line of the Lord’s Prayer, “protect us from evil”.
