I’ve just finished this classic book by Victor E Frankl about finding hope in the midst of suffering. Frankl was a Jewish psychiatrist who survived 18 months in Nazi concentration camps.
Most of us have never experienced that level of hardship, but we all know the weight of suffering. It’s a human condition that no one is exempt from.
Finding meaning and hope within profound desolation is something Jesus talks about as well. He tells his disciples “You will have trouble, but I give you Peace in the midst of it.”
It’s hard to believe, but there are people here who will tell you that’s not only true, but that they themselves have experienced it.
Join us here as we look at how that happens. All are welcome.
