Do you remember? The excitement of Halloween when you were a kid? What’s not to like – dressing up to be your favourite character and hauling home a pillowcase full of candy all on the same night.
What does Halloween have to do with Jesus? As followers, we’re called to “put on the clothes of Jesus.” (Romans 13:14). You could say we’re called to put on his costume. To take the things that make him who he is and incorporate them into our lives.
That poor baby in the pic is wearing a costume that someone else chose for him. But you have a choice. Today, and for the rest of your life. What costume are you wearing?
