The story of Jesus walking on water, a prominent event in the Bible, has been referenced and parodied in various forms of pop culture, from movies and TV shows to art and music (see Kanye West, The Talking Heads, Monty Python to name a few.)
But, what does it mean? Are we asked to trust that Jesus can help us rise above the storms of life? How do we find that kind of faith? If it’s real, it would be good to know how it works. Because, if you haven’t noticed, the storm clouds have been gathering.
