If you’ve never driven hwy 1 down the coast of California put it on your bucket list. It’s equal parts thrilling and treacherous. Thus the substantial guardrails and massive nighttime reflector lights mile after mile. Nobody in their right mind would dare the drive without them.
In some ways, biblical teachings are like guardrails. They provide direction to keep us from going over the cliffs of life. They point us toward a certain way of living that keeps us safer. Because more often than not, good choices lead to good consequences.
It’s what any good parent would do for their children. Instruction to keep them safe. It makes for a better and more peaceful drive and ensures you’ll make it to where you’ve always wanted to be.
