This Sunday at WPC we will celebrate the Vacation Bible Camp ministry. Throughout the week of July 23-27 we have been hosting "Kintail on the Road" and our sanctuary, John Fox Hall, classrooms, sanctuary, halls, and outdoor space have been well used by 40 children from the community and congregation. The theme this week is "Water of Life" and together we will continue to discover the power of water. It cleanses and renews us.
In worship on Sunday, we will take a journey through scripture and experience many of the ways that water is part of our faith story.
From the Deep - Goodness and Gift
In the beginning God created water as the Spirit of God moved over the vastness of this deep body. The water of life is a gift from God and therefore good.
Genesis 1: 1 - 2: 2
In the River– Birth and Belonging
In baptism, the water washes us clean in body and in spirit.
Mark 1: 4-11
At the Well – Enough for Everyone
John 4: 3-15, 27-29
The water of life quenches the thirst of body and spirit.
In the Pool– Seeing and Being the Light
John 9: 1-11
The life-giving water of Jesus heals blindness in body and spirit.
