Join us on this Sunday, January 19th at 10:30am at WPC as we delve into Psalm 40.  The psalms speak truth, they get to the point, and they reveal what is on the hearts of God’s people. The psalms give voice to the realities of human experience.  In them we identify the ups and downs of OUR own life and come to realize that we are not alone as we struggle in our life of faith.

Psalm 40 teaches us that God hears our cries and delivers us from times of trouble; so we should respond with a joyful new song; and that our joy may be interrupted by crying again.  We are oriented to God; disoriented by so many things; and ultimately reoriented by God.
