Join us on Sunday, July 21 at 10:30am, we will continuing our worship series called The Practice of Saying No.  This week’s message will focus on Exodus 20: 8-11 and Matthew 11:28-30 and is entitled “You are free.”

Sabbath is a tricky concept for Christians.  We struggle with both the notion of rest and the practice of stopping. When observant Jews light 2 candles on Shabbat, Friday night Sabbath, they light one for rest  and one for freedom.  Together we seek to find rest and freedom in God.  Rest and Freedom- we need them both so much.
