Join us on Sunday, November 24th at 10:30am at WPC as we celebrate Christ the King Sunday, the last Sunday of the liturgical church year. Next week we begin anew as we start our Advent journey. This year Advent takes on several meanings for the congregation of Westmount PC. With hope we anticipate the birth of the Christ-child, but we also look ahead to transformational change within our congregation as we birth new ways of doing ministry.
This week’s message will focus on the following scriptures: Colossians 1: 15-20
The beginning of Colossians starts with a Christ hymn and focuses on Jesus being before all and in all. This Sunday we will focus on Integration and what it means to truly integrate Christ in our lives. To integrate means to be “made whole.” With Christ as the centre of our lives, we can find wholeness. This Sunday we will be exploring that if we want to put Christ in the first place in our lives we must:
- Listen well
- Be intuitive
- Exhibit a sense of curiosity
- Deepen learning and Forward action
- Be responsible for ourself
