We invite you to join us at WPC on Sunday morning as we celebrate Thanksgiving and World Communion Sunday.  On this special Sunday in which we celebrate Holy Communion at the Lord’s table, we join Christians all over the world in this ritual.  Through this World Communion we realize that we are all connected as the body of Christ.  This week we look forward to continuing our “Heaven on Earth” Fall Worship Series.  This week we explore what it means to “Get small.”  Join us!

October 7: “Get Small”  (Thanksgiving & World Communion Sunday)
Scripture: Psalm 26 & Matthew 5: 5
Theme: When the kingdom of heaven “happens,” it makes a difference for the meek – those who are “small” and surrendered to God out of a profound sense of their “smallness.” The bigger we are (or think we are) the smaller God seems, but when we are humble, we know our need for God and God can do big things through us.
