“Gotta keep the faith baby!” “Right on my friend!” you respond, followed by the third high five you’ve thrown in the last 30 seconds. “Don’t stop believing. Everybody together, WE BELIEVE! YEEAAHH!!”

The Blue Jays came so close. We had faith that they would come through. They could’ve won. It was SO close. We all know there’s no real correlation between the strength of our belief and either winning or losing. Believing is a ton of fun, but the results are always an inch or two on either side of the foul line.

There’s faith in the Jays, and then there’s faith in Jesus. Jesus said that if we believe, certain things will happen. Certainly. He said we’ll move mountains. If we believe, he said, we’ll walk on the water. Jesus tends toward hyperbole but we get the point. “If you believe”, he said “you will be made well.”
How? What’s the formula? Because, a life of wellness forever is even better than a big win today.
