This morning there are flowers exploding all around us in colours we can’t describe. The air smells like heaven’s meadow. Bumblebees and song birds are providing the soundtrack for a new day and a new dawn. That’s why dude’s got such a wide grin in the pic. It’s the only response to that kind of goodness. “It’s a new day, it’s a new dawn. And I’m feeling . . . good.”
Jesus makes this promise. “Behold, I make all things new.” He’s more than aware there’s still Iran and Ukraine and children dying everyday in Gaza and insane corruption at the highest levels of the free world. But he still makes the promise. There’s hope in the darkness.
