This painting by 19th century Austrian artist Gabriel von Max
depicts the story of Jesus raising a girl who has died back to life.
It’s a well known miracle story in the Bible. But, what we do do with it? How is it relevant to us? I’ve never experienced anything like this, and it’s a safe bet that you haven’t either.
Some read it literally, some metaphorically, and others everywhere in between. However we read it, the story points to a great truth that runs as a common thread throughout the entire Bible. The story is a wide open window into who God is and what God does for us.
And yes, it’s as relevant to you as winter turning to spring.
What’s this great truth? We’re celebrating it in our worship. Join us at this link below or in person at Westmount church.
All are welcome. Red and yellow, black and white. We are precious in his sight.
